PATIENT SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
Greet and Check in patients. Collect Co-Payments Via Check, Credit Card and Cash. Answer phones, take messages, return calls, and provide needed information, while documenting all phone calls accurately and completely in patient’s electronic medical record. Process weekly reports & deposits. Schedule patient appointments for visits, procedures, diagnostic tests, referrals, and consultations. Register patients, enter, and update all required demographic data on patient in registration system. Process medical records request. Verify insurance prior to appointments. Request prior authorization from insurance if needed.
Assist filling and dispensing prescriptions for customers. Order and stock frames, lenses & supplies. Update patient records and inventory, processes invoices, and makes accounting entries using computerized system. Inbound & Outbound glasses inspection. Process orders for shipping via UPS.
