Scale House Operator
Contract Type: Evaluation to hire – long term
Location: Varies; will be traveling to Monroe, Everett, Goldbar, and Granite Falls
Pay: $18.50 per hour to start, depending upon experience. Mileage reimbursement when traveling to and from different locations. Raises reviewed after probationary period and are based on attendance and performance.
Benefits offered: Health Insurance, Vacation Pay, and a 401(k) retirement benefits plan.
Schedule: Monday- Friday: 6:45am-4:00pm
Responsibilities and qualifications include:
-Previous scale experience and construction/materials industry related experience is preferred, but will training will be provided
-A minimum of 1 year or more of administrative experience
-Communicate effectively on the telephone, in person, and in written correspondence
-Prioritize workflow, and complete multiple tasks simultaneously and accurately
-Detail-oriented and highly organized with proven follow-up capabilities
-Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
-Provide a positive, customer-forward experience in person, on the phone, and electronically
-Interpret and record incoming and outgoing weights of materials
-Record transactions and input data into the computer system
-Operate a cash register or credit card machine to collect payments and prepare daily deposit
-Perform daily reporting using Excel and other report-creating software
-Maintain a neat and orderly work environment
-Data-entry
-Interact with customers and direct to appropriate areas and/or personnel
-Provide site-specific training and notifies machine operators and laborers when a visitor arrives
