Kaas Tailored's Production Supervisor Development Track is a 12-month training opportunity to prepare individuals to become competent leaders.
In our leadership development track, our goal is to come alongside and develop individuals to become servant leaders in our organization through hands-on learning and personal mentorship. The estimated program length is 12 months, with the potential for leadership roles throughout our organization. This position begins with learning our production processes as the Foam Back-Up Lead with our Aerospace Foam Component team. This department is responsible for building aerospace foam components that are a subassembly for finished aerospace parts.
Regular schedule is 5:45 AM - 4:15 PM, Monday - Thursday. Potential overtime opportunities on Fridays.

Leadership Development Program Essential Job Duties:
-Provide timely and effective feedback to team members and open to receive feedback.
-Serve as a trainer/mentor to employees in the department.
-Creative problem-solver who knows the value of making small improvements.
-Follows standard work and understands its purpose.
-Leads by example with a high degree of integrity.
-Communicate with a diverse team.
Foam Team Specific Job Duties:
-Work with area team leads to meet internal due dates.
-Escalate issues timely per the escalation standard.
-Operate a CNC Router to transform foam blanks into parts.
-Use band saw and pin wire saw to cut and shape foam into parts.
-Assemble foam and plastic components into finished assembled parts.
-In-line QC.
Qualified applicants:
-The desire to serve others and lead with humility.
-1-2 years of successful experience leading a diverse team of people.
-The desire to make a positive impact within the organization.
-Able to give and receive feedback effectively.
-The desire to grow and take on more responsibility.
-Able to stand for the duration of a 10-hour shift.
-Valuing people for who they are and coaching them to grow people toward their giftings.
-Able to complete training for QA Stamp for final department inspection within 12 weeks of start.

Benefits package includes: 
Starting wage for this position is $19.00.
Paid Time Off (PTO)
Under 12 months: 1 hour PTO for every 30 worked.
After 1 Year: 70 hours PTO
After 3 Years: 110 hours PTO
After 5 Years: 120 hours + 30 hours paid Holiday during Christmas week
Holidays:  New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are paid for 10 hours after 1 month of employment.
Medical/Dental/Vision Benefits:  Eligible for coverage on the 1st day of the month following completion of 60 days of employment.
Tuition Assistance:  Eligible after 6 months of employment.
401(k):  Employer match based on the profitability of the company.
Technology Reimbursement:  Eligible after 1 year of employment.
