About the Job:
If selected to join us, this position will give you a chance to mentor and perform the following Inspection functions:

  • Perform building, mechanical, and plumbing inspections on various residential, commercial and industrial structures to ensure compliance with standards are being met within established building codes
  • Interpret and reasonably apply state and city codes and regulations
  • Maintain and update inspection records ensuring accuracy and clarity

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:  High School Diploma or equivalent and possession of two certifications from the International Code Council (ICC);
Experience:   Possess the equivalent of three years journey level construction experience, preferably in two major trades with specialized training in building inspection technology or closely related field; or three years’ experience as a Building Inspector I and/or II;
Or:  Any combination of education and experience, which provides the applicant with the desired skills, knowledge and ability required to perform the job, may be substituted for these qualifications.
