A non-profit establishment is looking for an Administrative/Certification Specialist to join its team in the Monroe area.
This is a long-term opportunity for candidates who have 2 years or more of affordable property management/compliance and social service eligibility qualification experience, have working knowledge of HUD or Tax Credit rules and regulations, and Landlord/Tenant and Fair Housing laws, and can prioritize their workflow, and complete multiple tasks simultaneously and accurately, are detail-oriented and highly organized with proven follow-up capabilities and is proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
This day-shift position has a Monday-Friday schedule but can change as needed; qualified candidates can earn up to $27.00 per hour to start, depending upon experience. Daily tasks include identifying eligible applicants for vacant units, processing applicant paperwork, housing packets, renewals, and recertification documentation, managing all aspects of the affordable multi-family housing waiting lists, work closely with the Compliance Manager and Community Managers in working toward providing safe, affordable, and quality homes for individuals and families, assisting the site staff with completing resident annual recertifications, calculate figures and amounts, reporting, and handling financials and working budgets.
